What is Meltdown?
Meltdown is a intense tactical action-arcade game created featuring an engaging sci-fi atmosphere with great characters, deadly enemies and lots of upgradable weapons to discover.
Who created Meltdown?
We are Phenomenon Games, an independent game studio specialising in crafting original titles across an expanding base of platforms including iOS, Android, MAC OS and Windows PC. You can learn more about us here.
What platforms is Meltdown coming to and what is the release date?
Meltdown is coming to the iOS, Android mobile platforms. PC, MAC and OUYA versions of the game are also scheduled for release. The release date is 7 November.
Will Meltdown be available for any other platforms in the near future?
We are constantly looking into opportunities to bring Meltdown to new platforms, but cannot give out release dates or future plans at this time.
Can I preorder the game?
We’re not accepting preorders at this time, though we appreciate your interest! If you want to get the game as soon as it’s available please join our mailing list and we’ll keep you posted.
How long was the game in development?
We started development in November 2012, so development took about 12 months.
What engine is Meltdown running on?
Meltdown runs on the Unity engine.
How long is the game?
Meltdown features 30 Missions and Quick-Play random generated levels.
iOS
When will the game be released on iOS?
7 November is the release date. The game will be available on both the iPhone and the iPad.
Android
Will there be an Android version?
Yes, the Android version will be released on the same date as the iOS version, 7 November.
PC
When will the PC version be available?
We expect it to be available sometime in the coming months, though we don’t have a more-specific date at this time. We invite you to join our mailing list to get updates and a more exact release date, as soon as we have one.
MAC
When will the MAC version be available?
We expect it to be available sometime in the coming months, though we don’t have a more-specific date at this time. We invite you to join our mailing list to get updates and a more exact release date, as soon as we have one.
